MANROSE MF125T 5" 125MM IN-LINE FAN TIMER EXTRACTOR MIXEDFLOW

The only reason this fan got 4 stars from me and not 5 is that I needed it to switch off at the same time as the lights which are on the same circuit and not to run on after the lights are extinguished. It does not have a zero run on time selection, only a short or longer run on function which take power from a permanent live wire. If you wire as instructed you are forced to select one of the run on functions. So it needed a simple re wiring for it to work as I needed it to. As I said, other than this, FIVE STARS in all respects.

I bought this motor to replace an old one fitted above our shower. Very pleased with the sturdy construction and ease of fitting (I'm not an electrician, strictly basic DIY skill level)The only faff was setting the timer on the overrun, which is simple enough to operate by turning the adjuster to + or -, just trial and error to set the length of time you prefer on the over run.

bought this to feed into an old mechanical heat recovery system which wasn't pulling strongly enough from the shower room, simple to fit just cut into my old ducting put it in, well made feels solid, its flow rate is great, and the timer model which I bought also has jumper connections to set to high/med/low speed which is a nice extra.When set to shortest run on time it runs on for 100 seconds.

I bought this inline fan to replace a very tired Manrose 5" bathroom fan with knackered bearings. What an improvement over the old one. I have it on the highest setting and it removes all trace of steam in our slightly larger than normal bathroom. The bathroom mirror remains clear. The tiles are no longer dripping with condensation. We are very happy with it.

In my previous house I had installed the MF100T and was always very impressed. Since moving to my new house the normal extactor fans reminded me how noisy they can be. The MF125T hits the sweet spot between airflow and noise levels. Its ability to push air over longer distances is fantastic. The noise is barely audible, and I've never had an issue. Top marks
