Stainless Steel Chopstick & Spoon Set

As advertised. Nothing special. Spoon bowl.way too small.for practical use.

When I received the product, the package was not sealed and it was very easy to slip the spoon and chopsticks in-and-out of the package, which makes me worry a bit... When inspecting the product for scratches and etc., there was more than I would have expected for a "new" product but maybe this is how they do things in Korea...The spoon is okay, but it would have been great if the base was wider and had a longer shaft... (-.-) Though, it does resemble the spoons used in Korean in shape, just not in size.I found the chopsticks quite hard to use: one, they are metal so it'll be harder to grip stuff without it slipping off; two, the chopsticks are a bit on the shorter side so I have to make larger movements to make grappling motions; three, the chopsticks are flat, which is the biggest issue when grabbing smaller objects and when holding it as the chopsticks move into a sandwich form.The design is nice, not exactly why I bought this item but I don't mind it being there--not too girly or manly nor is it noticeable from afar.I would not recommend this product to people who know how to use chopsticks properly, but I would recommend it for people who hold it at the... midpoint... or for those who is planning on bringing these to eat their lunch at work or out of the house because of it's shorter size (in comparison to other utensils)--else, just stick to the old fashioned wooden chopsticks to stay on the practical side. If you want to give these a try--these aren't expensive so it's not a big risk just to try them out (plus, it's free shipping too).

Before ordering, I looked carefully at the picture. There was a neat checker-board pattern made with texturing on the spoon handle and the back part of the chopsticks. When the set showed up in the mail, there was no pattern. I wasn't really all that bent out of shape about it, but I'm going to be a lot more careful about buying things based on the picture now. The spoon is awesome and just what my boyfriend wanted. He's in love with it, and I've had to wash it every day since we got it so he could use it. The chopsticks are kind of odd. They are thin and flat and a bit difficult to use at first. I used them to eat Ramen and by the end of the bowl I'd figured them out pretty well. There isn't any texturing on the tips of the chopsticks, so picking up some foods is a challenge. All in all, considering I spent under $5 out of pocket (Yay for giftcards!) I'm pretty happy with this buy. They are pretty sturdy and very easy to clean. If you want a Korean spoon and some chopsticks that'll last you a good long time, these will do ya.

I had purchased 2 sets of these S.S. Chopsticks and decided to order a second 2 sets. I was surprised at how fast they arrived in the mail. I am used to eating with chopsticks and at first found these a little hard to get used to - with my first usage was surprised how fast and easy it is to use these chopsticks and prefer these now over regular chopsticks. I like that they are S.S. and light weight and easy to clean. The last set are going in my 36 hour bag/go bag and the other into my three day bag along with one set of bamboo chopsticks in each [used for cooking]. Just today had great fun with a friend who is totally blind and taught him [without him knowing about the spoon] how to eat soup with chopsticks. He actually worked out a way; imagine his surprise when we gave him the spoon? Excellent product and I am going to order more.

I'm a Korean drama addict and have seen them using these in movies and series and wanted a set. I found these and I love them. The rice/soup spoon has a long handle and is just the perfect size. The chopsticks are nice, but I admit that I'm having to practice using stainless steel ones because I'm use to wooden and plastic chopsticks.These are very well made and make a nice addition to my everyday flatware set. I bought 4 sets of these initially and plan to buy some more to complete my set. These are a very nice quality.
