Worth having, but not easy going.
I have used Lightroom since the first beta version, I tested for Adobe. Each new edition carries more tools and whilst early on, it was a breeze to use, to get the most out of the programme you really do need some teaching backup.I got this book authored by Adobe, so should be the bible, and I followed the lessons. I thought I had a good knowledge of the software but from session 1 I was learning.I did find the 90 minute lessons a bit too long and tedious, hence the one star commission, but I am determined to work through it.I initially got the book so I could discover how I could store my photos off my hard drive. However, that isn't covered in the book so I am having to google/Youtube that area or maybe get an independent authors book. May Scott Kelly, who's books are entertaining is the way to develop that more too.

Offensively inadequate packaging
An expensive, well-produced and a resourceful book. The reason for the rating being so low is due to the fact that the book was despatched in a basic, unprotected envelope. Needless to say the spine was damaged and needless to say the book was returned. I'll stay loyal to Waterstones.

Livro referência
O livro é o que eu esperava. Uma referência com conceitos e práticas das técnicas a serem utilizadas no Lightroom. Excelente livro. Valeria a pena a tradução para o Português .

Clear and concise instructions
The topics are well organised and instructions are clear for learners to follow. It is a very helpful approach with the downloadable lessons which makes for a good "hands on" learning experience.

Definitely Not New
Book was shipped in a timely manner and the box was perfectly intact. The book, on the other hand, had a creased cover, rippled pages and dirt on it. The book is still readable but definitely not new.

Horrible print quality
I received this book today and the print quality is terrible. A book about photo editing software should printed on quality glossy paper to actually demonstrate how the software manipulates photographs. The pages look like they were printed on a home office desk printer. Some of the screenshots in the book that are supposed to show you examples of various software settings are nearly or completely illegible.
