Very pleased, good price and works well.
I purchased a gel heat pad from the 80s in America, which I've used over and over again across the years and I loved it. I had purchased several in a combination pack when they first came out and it was still a novelty, but had given all but the back pad to friends. However one day I was boiling it and lost track of time...only to have the water boil away and burn the heat pad...all the fluid leaked out of the various burnt holes...and owner stupidity is not covered by their lifetime warranty. I went to their website to replace it and found it now cost £45...too expensive and at my age (mid 60s) I don't care so much about a lifetime warranty as I did when I was in my 30s. So I searched for something similar as a replacement. I found this one and it came with a belt to put the heat pad in, so I bought it. I love it. If I compare it to the expensive lifetime one, I would say the outer covering doesn't appear to be as thick and sturdy. I don't believe there's a lifetime warranty, but at this price I could buy 4 of them and still be ahead pricewise. Also, the metal disk doesn't give a satisfying click...and I really enjoyed clicking it! At first I thought it wasn't working, but apparently it bends enough to start the heating process. So may be a cheaper quality disk. When it's solidified, there is just enough give in it to coil it up to put in a large pan for boiling...no matter how long you wait to re-use it. I purchased another brand (Red Fusion) from ebay at around the same price so I could boil one while I used the other. I don't like it as much as the Pure-fit. I can't get it to bend enough to fit in a pan, so I have to boil one end before it has enough give to fit the rest of it in. It might be the same technology but there is a difference in the way it works depending on the brand. I can recommend this brand as an inexpensive solution that does what it says. Oh, and I stick a dishtowel on the bottom of the pan to prevent a burnt heat pad from happening again!

Very useful pack.
Very easy to wear. Feels very heavy, but not noticeable when worn around hips.I found that it sets hard when it cools if heated as instructions state.I now boil a kettle of water and pour it into a large saucepan over the pad wrapped in a cloth. Bring back to boil with lid on. When boiling hard, I then turn off the ring and leave it for approx 2 hours to cool in saucepan. It is then cool enough to use again as it cools, It will not need to be reheated until it has later been used in its hard state. This way I can use it twice for each boil up.I hope this helps.

Get one worth your money
Not good, it didn't go liquid. It went it after boiling, but it's meant to stay liquid after then you click it to heat, but when it got cold it went solid. The second time I boiled it I tried to click the button, it didn't click and it ripped and I had to him it.
