This is an awesome notebook. It's large - just under A4 in size per page - and just looks gorgeous. The paper quality is nice, and the while thing (especially the spine) seems to be well made and put together. I've purchased this to be a sort of creative diary for me to draw and write in, and it has a feel that fits the bill. Overall, it has a definite antique-y vibe to it, as though it wouldn't be out of place as a period drama prop. Very happy. Plus it had a nice little thank you note inside (handwritten, no less!) that was there to draw attention to the fact that the dye may stain clothes or fabrics. I'm not worried - it comes in a cloth bag, so i can keep it in there if i want to carry it with me.Can't wait to start filling it up with doodles and writing! Great stuff!

I love this journal. The leather is soft and supple, the paper has a slight creamy tinge but feels pleasantly smooth to touch and although I'm not sure what the thickness of it actually is, it feels like it might be between 130 - 150gsm and I think because its smooth that it will take a nib pen and ink quite well (I'll let you know if it all goes horrible wrong). I wanted something simple but beautiful for my drawings and poetry and this ticks both boxes. The paper measures just under 25cm x 17.5cm so its a nice size. I like how quirky the leather is too - it's a nice rich brown colour and has a rustic feeling to it - perfect for what I intend it for. Inside it is roughly finished but the company declared this from the start and I don't mind this sort of thing because it feels authentic. It arrived nicely wrapped so well protected and only took 4 days for delivery too. I would recommend this if you are looking for something a tinsy bit quirky and very special. I also really like the fact this is made by a small business and the little welcome tucked inside the front was an unexpected and sweet touch. Thank you for a wonderful product Gusti Leder. i love this journal, its beautiful, to touch and to look at the tones of the leather is lovely quality. The paper is good quality and thick. It comes in a projective bag. I will be using this to make a photo album for my boyfriend for his birthday, with lots of old family photos his sister found for me, which he hasn't seen and will hopefully bring back some lovely memories. and something he can keep adding to. i love that it looks vintage and that it will be full of memories.The only thing that may put off buying is that the first page and last page are stained from the leather, but it adds character to it.Postage was great and no problems buying.I would buy again and also recommend to friends and family.

Love this book. Bought it to create a photo album for my dad so wanted something classic and this is it at an amazing cost. I know he will appreciate the quality of the leather and the paper. Only down fall is once I filled this with pictures, it was quite difficult to close, however the leather has stretched a little bit and I have kept it under heavy books to try and flatten it out. Would highly recommend this product

This journal is FANTASTIC quality! Lovely leather cover, well bound and quality paper. Looked everywhere for a quality notebook (to create a photo scrapbook / album for my mother's fiftieth Birthday) and this one was just perfect!It's just the right size to fit two pictures on each page and (with the help of some sticky photo corners) the finished project was incredible!This notebook would be suitable for drawings, art projects, scrapbooks, photo scrapbooks, photo albums, journals (if you prefer, or want, unlined paper)!

Very good quality. The leather feels very nice and also looks nice. The B5 which I got has 100 sheets (200 pages) and feels solidly bound. The paper is thick and works well with fountain pens and is probably also good for sketching (not very coarse though but rather fine).I like it very much and I would like if there was an option for more sheets (160 maybe would be a good number).I recommend this to anyone interested, you will be very happy with it I'm sure.

Exactly what I was expecting, the leather feels and smells good. The imperfections in it are no problem and were less than I would have guessed for a product of this sort. I plan to use it as a written travel journal, but this would be great as a writing diary or sketchbook but if you want a scrapbook or something where you can stick and paste pictures and the likes note that there are lots of pages and the paper is thicker than average so it may get very bulky quickly.

Very retro feel to the outside. It feels like its made with quality and the paper inside is quite thick and substantial. I used this as a scrapbook to stick things in as a sort of diary and it worked perfectly. If it were to be used as a sketchbook I don't know if you would be able to get each side flat enough to sketch on due to the large binding part.
