Braun food processor replacement bowl

My original bowl finally failed after more than ten years -- the drive shaft locked up. Maybe I should have hand washed it, like the manual said? Oh well. This replacement bowl saved me from buying a whole new food processor. I have had no issues at all. It fits perfectly on the base and the cover fits on without any problems. All blades work fine. Quality seems equal to the original. I think I prefer the original handle design, but that's a very minor issue. Yes, I've been hand-washing this one.

This is my second Braun Food Processor - the first one got busted up during a move. I tried another name brand processor, but was really unhappy with it, so decided to go back to the Braun FP. One of the main reasons is because I can get broken parts replaced easily and reasonably. I also like the fact that it is quieter then other processors I've tried, and the motor seems to go forever. The machine seems well made, and there are a lot of different attachments for various projects. It is also easier to clean then other models that I've tried, though not super easy. I've made hummus, salsa, cookie dough, and butter with it, and many other things, and works like a charm. I would absolutely purchase it again!

This perfectly fits my base. It arrived intact with minimal packaging. It is just like the original.

I use my Braun food processor often and for years. Because I use it mostly to knead my bread dough the little gear broke, so a replacement was necessary. I am so pleased with the food processor and highly recommend the Braun brand.

The base machine just keeps going and going Fortunately we can get these nice replacement parts.

Can't close the lid with the blades that cut from the top. Unfortunately, I didn't try those blades until after my time to return was over.Update: Per chance i ordered a new insert carrier OEM, to replace the perfectly functioning original insert carrier hoping that it would fit into the Braun OEM food processor replacement bowl above. It did. It is apparent that older, at least the, K650 model was redesigned ever so slightly by Braun.I have raised my rating to 4 star and not 5, because i needed to replace the Braun Insert Carrier as well for no reason other than Braun's design change which was not communicated.

I sent for a new bowl as my dog bit a chunk out of the spindle and it was no longer useable. (All you dog haters, I don't want to hear it. She no longer gets this to lick out.) It works perfectly and I'm very happy with the processor, which I use on almost a daily basis. Braun makes a great product.
