Waiting on God: A 31-Day Adventure into the Heart of God – 3rd Edition

I have been spending 30 minutes each day following the daily readings in 'Waiting On God' and the suggested meditation/prayer time. I have written my daily response too. I sometimes disagreedwith the author in what he wrote, but I continued using the book every day, and after almost two months I have found this a very important perspective-changing way to spend my time In the last few days I ambecoming vividly aware of the sacred nature of God's world and have found myself crying withhumility and gratitude in a way I know is right. I realize that the author who wrote this in late 19th Century had no idea about liberation movements and so where I disagreed at first now I understand the world he lived in. In the hands of someone who wants to become more aware of God's goodness, love, truth, beauty and hope for the future, you may find using this little volume very helpful. I would recommend using a separate notebook for your own reflections rather than writing in this book.

My wife and I appreciate the new intro at the front of the book which lays the foundation for the Luke 10 Transformation plan.But most of all we appreciate the short daily excerpts to help refocus our mind on what matters most - God.Bonus: the book is small enough for traveling but yet a good size font for reading.The testimonials in the back of the book make the book personal - inpartciular Debbie B.'s testimony stood out in which our spiritual walk can become one-sided and this book helps us realign and refocus to truly HEAR and be loved.

Absolutely love this adventure into the heart of God! Such an amazing practice. Has changed my life! My home is more peaceful, my marriage more dynamic and my every day life is much calmer. So grateful for this book! If you are debating on whether or not to purchase- buy it! You will not be sorry!

This book helps you focus on being present with God. Not asking, thanking or begging just being present. It hastransformed my prayer life.
