You have to build this - cute but pieces were missing/broken :( I couldn’t complete the holder correctly

I've never used bricks like the ones making up this toy. Instead of snapping together like other building bricks, these have slats on the sides and tops to slide the bricks together. Some of the bricks got stuck and were next to impossible to remove. In fact, I had to use a hammer a few times to get some of the bricks to slide into place. Due to the slats and having to slide the bricks together, my fingers were hurting a bit toward the end of the build.

Still delightful to put together, but not quite the brick-building experience I was expecting. Finished product looks nice. The instructions were a little more cumbersome than other sets.

Fun project for my 6 year old granddaughter who did have some help from her older sibling.

I had a lot of fun assembling this, it came with plenty of extra pieces in case you lose some while working and it comes out looking just like the photo! the instructions are kinda hard to follow and the pieces tore up my fingertips a little but it feels like it's gonna hold up for a while

Love the interlocking bricks mechanism! It's unique and very satisfying to build. This little guy is very cute. The instructions were mostly clear, except for the bow section! Maybe it's just me, but the bow section had pictures that seemed more confusing than they should be (the pictures relating to the bow look one way in the left picture and another on the right). It wasn't difficult to figure out eventually however and ended up with this very cute miniature. Additionally, thanks to the spare assembling bricks that came with this kit, I was able to give the shiba inus on the pencil holder a couple of white eyebrows. I'm very pleased with the result!

It's a little impractical but overall fun and I'm glad I have the experience of playing with the product. Just know what you're getting into and be prepared to go back to a standard penholder, but I did have a good time with this.
