Dana does it again.
I met Dana years ago, he is truly a gentleman. After reading Crashers, his first book, I instantly liked his style. I have since purchased all but one of his books, that book being purchased and given to me as a gift, by my former spouse, whose name coincidentally is also Dana.If there is one thing for me to take notice in the negative about this book, it would be the "wordiness" of describing places and things, all spot on accurate, I have no doubt, but those places in the book just held me captive until we could get back to the juicy bits once more. Thank you, Dana, I can't wait for your next book.Michael

Haynes hasn't missed a beat
Nothing is missing in Haynes 3rd thrillerfeaturing the St. Nicholas Salvage & Wrecking Crew! You're off and running in the first 5 minutes and the action rarely stops. The plot is rich; the characters richer. Thanks to Haynes for making time to bring us another great story. Can't wait for #4!

What a Romp of a Read!
This is the author's third St. Nicholas Salvage & Wrecking thriller, featuring Michael Finnegan and Katalin Fiero, two irresistible characters hell-bent on bringing big-time bad actors to justice or just knocking them off. Most of the action takes place in Cyprus and Italy. Finnegan and Fiero are great at recruiting a colorful cast of associates to help them in their pursuit of major corrupt ex-NYC cops and a senior Mexican drug lord. This series just keeps getting better and better. Dana Haynes is a wonderful storyteller.

Suspense and action.....
I loved The Saint of Thieves by Dana Haynes!Loved the characters. Loved the settings. Loved the action. Loved the suspense. It's a well-crafted and compelling story. This is the 3rd book in the St. Nicholas Salvage & Wrecking series. It's the first I have read and now I will be working backward to read the other two. The two main characters, ex-cop Michael Finnigan and ex-spy Katalin Fiero Dahar generally bring the worst of the world's worst to the International Criminal Court and often rely on what many might consider shadowy friends to get the job done. The duo finds themselves now being called to rescue one of these friends--and the task isn't as simple as it may seem.Highly recommended. Get it as soon as you can.

Great international thriller
This is one of the best international thriller series out there, and the third one is as good as the first two. There's lots of action, an engaging cast of colorful characters, snappy dialogue, jet-set exotic locales, and enough suspense and plot twists to keep the pages turning. Our hero can drink half a bottle of vodka, seduce the nerdy professor, and still take down a couple of mob hitmen without breaking a sweat. The overall vibe, from the two main characters to the international glamor to the over-the-top villains, is very much Modesty Blaise/Willie Garvin, and the author even tips his hat to the resemblance at the end.

Some Garbage Requires Special Handling
Some garbage requires special handling. That’s when the St. Nicholas & Wrecking crew is called in. In this, the third book of the series, the crew has to operate outside the law once again. The past meets the present as some exceptionally bad guys need to be eliminated

Has a lot of Promis
I’ve never heard of author Dana Haynes before, but the synopsis of the book sounded fun.A pair of bounty hunters, an ex-New York cop and an ex-intelligence agent, go after some of the worst criminals for international courts. This time the case turns out to be a little more personal. The book moved well and had some great character beats. The description of the setting almost made you feel like you were there. My only real downside to the book was the action.Based on the plot of the book, I was expecting more. More gunplay. More fights.Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying there wasn’t any, I just felt it needed… more. After getting through some of my current reading, I’ll probably go back and read the first two books in the series.
