This is a must have for those looking for a device to stream their 4k UHD Blu-Ray movies on.Installation was straightforward and diving into Coreelec install was just as painless. Using Coreelec CPM with PKC to stream my 4k movies from my desktop Plex to this device and getting proper DV FEL support, it's very nice. Now to begin the journey of setting up a direct play NAS.

This is the BEST Kodi box you can buy. Replaced my Nvidia Shield with this. FEL/CoreElec support is incredible. CoreElec support and documentation is better than any proprietary provider can give. Don't let that scare you. Running all other apps on my TV. This is the way.....

This device is unique. CoreElec figured out how to properly play Dolby Vision profile 7 (both MEL and FEL) and all lossless audio codecs on the am6b+. It correctly plays everything without red push like the Nvidia Shield or ignoring FEL. Newer streaming boxes with different chipsets can't do this, and likely never will. I bought a second one to have on hand as a backup, because eventually these will go out of production.

With CoreELEC and PM4K this plays every one of the many media files from my Plex server that other clients I own (Apple, nVidia, Roku, Google, Amazon, etc...) can't. Easily the TOP of my list of clients I use every day. Vendor shipped quickly and safely. 10/10!!

Bit pricey but after installing Corelec things work great and Dolby vision profile 7 with FEL works.

Endgame streaming box once CoreElec (KodiOS) is installed. It is the only streaming box on the market that will play ALL Dolby Vision profiles including FEL. AppleTV, Dune, Zidoo, and Shield Pro all ignore the full-enhancement layer so MKV remux quality is not as good as the disk.,Not so with the Am6b+, reference quality MKV remux playback. Works perfectly with Plex as well for the endgame streaming box experience.

I have owned this device for 2 years and will say at the outset there is no better stock android streaming device out there. This android 9 device is super customizable to your needs and tastes. With plenty of RAM and internal memory, you can download your favorite open source apps in a snap, including Home Screen launchers of your choice. The dual antenna wi fi and 1gb Ethernet both pull in a strong internet signal. The metal casing and large heat sink on the powerful processor do a great job dispersing heat, unlike many other streaming boxes, making this one of the coolest operating devices in the market. This device is built to last.
