used to help hydrate my hair after washing it. This has did well with my hair type.

I loved the fragrance of this truffle serum – after using it, the whole bathroom smelled wonderful. After applying to my hair, the fragrance lasted about an hour. I wish the instructions were more precise, as it says “apply a small amount of Truffle Serum on damp or dry hair evenly from the scalp to the ends of the hair” = that doesn't help me decide how much to use on shoulder length hair; and the product is somewhat pricey so I don't want to waste it.This is definitely a “serum” with a somewhat thick consistency and is a transparent blue in color. I applied a “small amount” to my damp hair after shampooing, and the serum was easily absorbed by my hair; but I didn't notice any difference in my hair once it was dry. Later on, I put the product on my palms and then applied it to my dry hair and it helped to tame the frizzy ends that stick up and left my hair shiny and silky. So then I decided to apply some just to the ends of my hair – which are dry and brittle – and that is where I noticed the most difference. The dry brittle ends became softer and more manageable and held curl longer; and that is the area of my hair where I will continue to use this product. Love, love the fragrance.

I like to use serums on my hair. They do seem to strengthen and help prevent breakage. I use them when I blow dry, and I put a little on my ends before bed. This serum was a bit heavy for me. I like it for blow drying, but one squirt was a bit too heavy for using on dry hair and made my hair greasy feel and look. Also, after applying, my hair felt like nothing had been on it after about an hour, in that it was all dried out. I think it might work better on coarse fuzzy hair.

This is my second product I’ve tried from this company, and both of them are amazing. I’ve used so many leave in conditioners that work, but this one surpasses all of them. I use leave in conditioners to keep my hair hydrated, and to cut down on the frizz, but I also use them on my daughter’s hair because the ends are ALWAYS getting tangled no matter how much, or how many times you condition it. With this, I can basically skip using the conditioner, but I still use just a tiny bit. After I wash her hair, I pump out 2 small pea sized drops of this serum, and comb it through her hair. The teeth of the comb just glide through the strands of her hair. After drying, her hair is so soft and shiny, not to mention it smells amazing, even the next day til her next bath. My hair doesn’t tangle quite like hers, but this adds so much moisture without making it greasy, cuts down on my frizz, and leaves my hair so soft, even after I’ve slept on it. Amazing product, and their hair mask is something else to rave about too! Highly recommend both.

This hair serum comes in a nice bottle with easy to use pump, the serum is a gel consistency and is light blue in color. It goes on easily and didn't leave my hands greasy. I did notice my hair being a little shiny/oily looking at first but it fully soaked into the hair after about 15 minutes or so and then my hair was just looking silky, smooth and beautiful. I did have to use more of this than I normally would use of a hair oil (I have long thin fine hair - I used about 4 pumps, other hair oils I use about 2).Very happy with how my hair looks and feels after use but I did knock a star off because of the very strong smell. It is not bad but it is very masculine to me, it smells like men's cologne or aftershave and the scent lingers a long time. I could smell it on my hands hours later and, now 5 hrs later, I can still smell it in my hair rather strongly. I do NOT have an overly sensitive nose so this was surprising to me. It's not a bad smell but it's not a scent I would choose to use as a woman and it will limit when I use this hair serum. But otherwise, really great product.

I have curly hair-- so trying to find products to manage the curls without looking greasy or stiff-- can be difficult. I also like to straighten my hair and I hate buying different products to manage the different styles I like. I have been using this for about a week.... it is very light weight and does not weigh my hair down. So far it has been controlling the fly aways and the frizz when I leave my hair curly. It does not have the "stiff" look of you have product in your hair... look. It is also very nice when I straighten my hair-- leaves a gentle shine to the hair. I love that it has black truffle which is a fungus (mushroom type)-- there is so much to say about infused products with benefits! You only need a little bit because a little bit goes a long way! I have below shoulder length hair-- and I use about 2-3 squirts in my palms, massage my palms together and then run my fingers through my hair-- starting at the scalp and downward!It is expensive... however.. it is good! I feel this will last me more than a month of using it everyday. I am very pleased with the product!
