It will allow you to connect and use 2 monitors at the same time

Q: Will this work with sky q? the 3 way splitter i already own connects amazon and my laptop but doesn't work with my sky q.

It will work with any device connected via HDMI as it is simply a connector. However, one thing to bear in mind is that to automatically recognise and change the device it recognised a device that is "active". However, even if on standby it is still considered "active" I hope that helps.

No, it is not designed for that purpose. It splits 1 feed into 2
