Tear Mender 2 oz Instand Fabric and Leather Adhesive

I was looking for the best fabric glue on the market. The seam of an outdoor beanbag was continuously being breached by polystyrene beans. I was tempted to throw the beanbag out believing it was not mendable as it is used by my daughter as a crash mat. Totally delighted with this product after numerous fails of other glues. It helps to peg or clamp the fabric together during adhesion but once set is both transparent, strong and flexible. I have not yet tried to machine wash it but great value for money if the product replacement cost is greater than the price of the glue.

This is a Quality product as it does what it says i.e Bonds extremely well turning from liquid to a glue like state and 95% of the time the liquid wipes away very easily and does'nt leave a mark on the fabric or fibre even if you spill abit of it on the fabric/fibre surrounding it it even if you get it on your finger/hand it comes off without any problem.... i did use a small amount of it to bond fabric on a cream coloured designer waistcoat of mine the back of which was made of viscose it worked particularly well however sadly....... i found that it left a particularly visable brightish gluely biege/yellow mark which did not blend in with the cream colour of the viscose materail on the waistcoat and the exact same thing happened on a stone/biege wool zip jacket of mine even though it did bond very well........so i will have to put a patch of a very similar/same colour as the jacket over these visable marks not"the end of the world"but dissapointing none the less............another minor quibble(though nothing to do with the quality of the liquid in the bottle)is the bottles black plastic lid(which comes in two bits)i thought you could squeeze the liquid through the unscrewable lid it and when you look at it it appears that you can but this is'nt the case at all....... and you have to unscrew the lid on the bottle to get access to the liquid inside it...this means that whilst using the liquid there is the potential/real possibility of easily knocking the whole bottle over accidently wasting some if not all of the precious liquid contents inside.......which wood be very annoying in more than one respect as the quality of the tear mender liquid inside the bottle is undeniable......if this lid/s was altered slightly and you could easily squeeze the liquid through it without having to unscrew the lid then so be it as prevention is better than cure.............

Works really well. You have to shake it really well before use, and it can leave a slight white residue. But it works fantastic and lasts through machine washing.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - comes out with a runny consistency a bit thicker than PVA glue. Once dried, it's easily cleaned off surfaces etc. We're using it for gluing our dogs ears, as recommended by several people. I'd imagine this would also be ideal for kids projects and stuff.

Doesn't bond leather well at all, Very thin consistency almost like milk. Dries like copydex glue and can be rubbed off non porous material. I used it when retrimmimg a steering wheel and had to tape the leather cover in place till the glue fully dried and even then it hardly holds it in place.

This product does exactly as promised.

Bought this to strengthen fabric wearing thin on a sofa seat (fabric) and not to bond bits of material together which seems to be the main purpose of this adhesive. It's too soon to say if the durability will be successful. It says that it dries beige but it's dried a darker brown. If colour match doesn't matter then not a problem but I think I'll 'stick' to the old fabric glue that dries clear. However, full marks for the quick delivery from the U.S.A.

Started getting a bit nervous when my favourite Orslow jeans started to wear through at the crotch and knees. Cut up an old pair and applied patches using this and they’re perfect!

the best fabric glue i can find. excelent for tacking pieces down so they dont shift while i sew, also great for locking the finish knot. dries as a soft rubber.

I have a one complaint ,, when I purchase this first time , That time time i get the only half bottle glue like 30 ml and second time i get the full bottle,, I can’t understand how is it possible.... this is the biggest question for Tear Mender Company.... If we are trusting on company product and giving the best rating, Than please do the faithful buisness with us ....

J'ai acheté cette colle pour "rectifier" une oreille mal mise de mon am staff de 4 mois. La colle a bien tenue environ 1 semaine et cela a suffit pour remettre l'oreille comme il fallait. Elle n'a pas eu de réaction allergique, les poils ont repoussés en dessous donc je suis satisfaite. Le prix est par contre un peu élevé pour l'usage fait mais le principal c'est que cela fonctionne sans faire de mal au chien...
