Bought this as a backup to my CooSpo other chest strap. This is the same strap that comes with the CooSpo heart rate monitor.

Connects and works great as a replacement to my original Garmin strap that connected to my Fenix 3. My only complaint is the stitching is kind of irritating. I ended up scratching a metal edge against the stitching to soften it up a little but it's still slightly there. I am hoping it will go away eventually with use.

Bought to replace the original garmin strap that failed.This strap is fine, it works, and is red. It’s not as comfortable as the garmin strap but is acceptable. The “latch” works the same way as the garmin but isn’t as refined, no flap.For the price (£8) it’s a good replacement strap, don’t know about longevity, but would buy another if needed.PSA - if your garmin strap stops, contact garmin they may arrange a replacement. Also when replacing the battery in the garmin, before fitting the new battery, fit the old battery the wrong way around for about 10 mins. I’ve read that fitting the new battery too quickly can brick the unit... sigh... happened to me, fitting the battery wrong way around discharges it (??) then fit the correct way, might then work again.

Bought as replacement strap for Garmin Dual SRM HR Monitor.Initially happy - seemed to work well. The strap wasn't as secure as the Garmin version (slipped a little), but with a bit of mid-run fiddling (annoying), I could usually get it to stay put. (I figured this was a small price to pay for the...small price to pay....(?))However, after a 3 weeks/month: inconsistencies started. Eg. some days connected to watch straight away, others took a long time (and then sometimes not until 3k into a run). Massive HR spikes or drops, disconnections, delays, all getting more and more frequent as the weeks went by.I persevered: washed the strap (gently) + changed the actual Garmin SRM unit battery. No change.I'm reading some reviews that suggest it works well. Perhaps with the same brand HR unit (Coospo)? To use with the Garmin unit, I cannot recommend this product. My replacement will be a different brand.

Having worked fine for 2 yrs I began having problems with my HR monitor dropping out and under reading. I borrowed the strap from my husband’s monitor and suddenly mine was working again which encouraged me to buy just a new strap. This seems to have solved the problem. Not sure how the first strap was damaged - possibly I rolled it too tightly when taking it away with me.
