Perfect for my original K45 mixer
My K45 stand mixer has served me well since I was married 52 years ago, but the handle in the 4.5 qt bowl snapped off a few years ago. For a while I upgraded to a beautifulPro 600 bowl-lift mixer but sold it for almost what I paid when I sold my home last year. Now back to using the original. It was time to replace the bowl. This 5 qt bowl is beautifully made and snaps into place as expected. The slightly larger capacity is a welcome enhancement, in addition to now having a handleto work with. Looks like KA OEM product and came boxed that way. Lightning deal, less than $30. Very happy with this purchase.

After finding out what model the mixer is, I found this bowl was going to fit. It is so nice having a bowl that has a handle to hold and use more efficiently than the bowl that came with the mixer that doesn’t have a way to hold easily. Have already considered buying another so when baking in big batches, don’t have to wash in between!
