I like this phone holder for this price range. I don't think it is necessary to buy a more expensive one. I tried the dashboard/windshield mount, and it worked very well. The suction is very strong, and it is very sticky once you remove the paper layer. However, when I removed it (which is very difficult because it sticks on the dashboard/windshield so well), it left a circular mark on my dashboard. Therefore, I would recommend you use the suction mount only if you are NOT planning on removing it.Personally, I like the air vent clip better because it is easier to remove. The clip has a little "hook" to clip on the vent and you can use the screw on the back to tighten up the clip. I had other air vent phone holder, and it always falls off when I drive to make a sharp turn. This one stays on very well and so far it hasn't fell off when I drive. Overall, I think it is a good product and I would recommend my family and friends to purchase it.

The mount came well packed and was super easy to setup. Seems to be holding strong and has great adjustability.The suction cup is covered in a soft gel-like material that bonded well to the windshield and has held tight through the cold weather we are having in the midwest.The base connects to the arm with ball joints with an easy to use twist to lock feature that holds it perfectly in place and can extend and rotate to whatever position you would need.The mount itself accomodates my older small iphone 6 and my newer p30 in a giant otterbox case, so whatever size phone you have this should fit it just fine. There is a locking feature and soft rubber that holds the phone so there is no slipping or excess movement.Overall, I would definately buy this product again and am very satisfied with my purchase.

This phone/device holder works perfectly in my jeep....holds tight even when I am off roading. I waited a while to post a review to see how well it worked when I was driving on rough terrain and it passed the test. I use it to hold my old cell phone that I have my gps/trail app on and it works like it was a factory installed accessory. All I can say is that it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I must add that I have a round flat plate on my dash that the suction cup attaches to so that helps to provide a solid base of the holder.

This phone holder works great! I tested it with the suction mount first and it worked great! Reaches a good spot on top of dash even with a distant sloping windshield. I ended up switching over to the vent mount because it is just a more comfortable place to reach. Even with android auto running there are times when you want to be able to interact with the phone's screen. I highly reccomend this holder. My wife is able to put her pixel with a pop-socket into the jaws and clamp it down. We have both been using it for over a month and it is working perfectly for both. I will be getting another one for our other car.

I previously wrote a really good review for this because it’s the first mount that I’ve ever gotten to stick to my dashboard. I really wanted a mount for my dashboard because if I stick it to the windshield, my phone overheats, but if I have a vent clip mount, then my phone prevents me from moving the vent. This mount was great for about a month or so but now the stickiness wore off and it just fell. I tried a couple of times to stick it back on and give it some time to re-add here, but nothing. Going to have to try and order another one from somewhere else. Not sure that it would have the same problem on a windshield but I’m assuming with the heat that the adhesion would eventually wear off… It came with a clip for the vent, but I don’t plan on using that.
