Q: I see the pet food is processed here, but are all of the ingredients domestic or n. american origin? any chinese products in it, specifically.

Hi! This is Amber from Beyond. We’d like you to know, we don’t get our chicken from China. Our chicken is sourced from North America. The only ingredients we source from China are certain vitamins and minerals, that are not readily available anywhere else in the quantities needed, such as taurine and B vitamins. If a product is made outside of the USA, it will be noted on the package as "product of". We hope this helps!

Q: Does this have iodine in it? My cat cannot have iodine.

I do not currently have that flavor at home, so I cannot verify for certain. But I do have the Purina Beyond grain free chicken & egg, and do not see iodine listed. There is calcium iodate though, if that's the same thing. I hope that helps!

Q: Is the fish wild or farm raised?

It claims to be "wild caught" fish on the bag. Of course, who knows where the fish are really from? We definitely need some better oversight and quality control when it comes to our pets' food. Hope that helps.

Q: So i received this in the mail perfect timing as we just ran out. To my surprise, as we opened it, it did not have the fishy smell other did. Why?
