I have been looking for a colander for over the sink. It's so hard to know which one is going to work best. The first one I got has the "mesh" style draining area and it also was not sealed well around the top, so food got stuck in it. So I booted it to the curb. This one is perfect. It has large holes for quick draining has no areas where food can get stuck. I love everything about it.

Make sure to read measurements!. Doesn't fit my farm sink.More recent review: Ended up putting this in my stainless steel camper sink and I LOVE IT! It's perfect!

I love this colander. It can fit a lot of produce, is easy to clean, and (so far) shows no signs of rust. The downside is that it slides easily, so I’ve had to make sure it’s pulled all the way while drying. Conversely, I’ve had it across the sink to wash produce and it has slid inward enough to fall into the sink. Overall, it’s a well-built product that just needs a little tweaking.

Convenient, space saving, no clean up. If you're always washing and cleaning fruits and vegetables - and who isn't - this will be a welcome addition.

I got this thinking I would be open to trying a strainer/drying rack. If I had one large sink this would be great but I have a standard divided sink so it just cuts down on my storage space. I’m not a fan.

The title says it all! I was looking for something to use when washing fruits and veggies after grocery shopping, because putting them back in their old container is yucky but they're still a bit too wet to put into tupperware. I was using paper towels to dry them but that's so wasteful. This strainer solved all of my issues! Now I just put this in the sink with all of the fruit (oh yeah, I was washing one at a time like a sucker before) and rinse well, and I'm able to let them dry off a bit before transferring to tupperware. The holes are a little large so I've had issues losing little blueberries before, but not too bad. I'd absolutely recommend this item and would purchase again if needed!

Really wanted to like this, because I wanted to replace one I had. I ordered it thinking it would fit across my kitchen sink, but the measurements for the length is a bit deceiving. The measurement for the length is the top measurement which includes the handles making it too small to fit the width of my sink. Sadly it had to go back.
