Not easy to control
Update: After doing some research and flying the drone some I discovered how it increase the range. The drone ships in the "beginner" mode that limits the range. What's missing is an easy tutorial on how to remove the beginner restriction. After watching a couple of videos on youtube and doing a deep re-read of the tiny instruction booklet I found out how. While the instruction booklet shows the screen in the app where one can remove the restriction, it does not show or tell how to access that page in the app. I discovered that only after some searching. Hint: Press the three dots upper right. The handling is still not smooth, it's very jerky because there's no proportional input. If you want a slow pan or change of direction you're out of luck. The drone won't move until you get to full joystick then it jumps in that direction. I increased my stars to three. If there was a fix to get proportional input I would increase it more.Original Review: This is the first drone I've flown so I have nothing to compare it to. I bought this due to a recommendation from a web site for a drone for beginners. Not very impressed. The range is very short. It won't go more than 200 feet away in an open field. It is VERY slow to respond to the controls and there is NO proportional control. If I press a control slightly one way or another the drone does nothing. I have to go to full stop with the controls before the drone reacts then it jumps at full speed so any movement is jerky. It takes forever to charge the battery for about 20 minutes of flying time. The gimbal is problematic. It only tilts up and down and then only after fiddling with it to get it to work at all. When it does choose to work it's VERY slow. Again I have nothing to compare it to but I'm less than overwhelmed. If I had an idea of a good drone to buy I'd send this back on a swap.

A good drone, great value, needs anti-collision
This is a well made drone that is easy and smooth to fly with good software. It is value priced but anti-collision sensing is sorely missed. No comparison to a DJI drone and far superior remote software...but the best entry level, non pro drone in my opinion
