Genuine Original Remote Control for TOSHIBA RC1900

The Source button does not work - we only just realised this because this remote was bought to replace the original that drowned in the kitchen sink. A bit later, the built-in DVD player in our TV failed so we started using external DVD player which is when we found that the Source button on the replacement remote doesn't work. I confirmed this by trying to teach a universal learning remote the codes from this one and all buttons except the Source button work fine. Since it's so cheap, and the time that has elapsed, I have bought another one rather than mess around with returns etc.

Good product. Good price. Still going strong a year later. NB: a tip: if you want to check whether a remote is working, hold the end of the remote (as you would towards the TV) against a phone camera, and see if there is a light flashing when you press the remote's keys.

Oldish TV. Remote beginning to need heavy pressure on buttons to achieve changes. Options: buy new TV or search for new remote. Search for new remote. Did the latter. Came up with this. TV now controllable without dislocating thumbs. Cheap answer to potentially more expensive solution. Works brilliantly. Happy as Larry.

Broke down after a month. Buttons do not work anymore, switching channels or putting volume up and down were the first ones to go.

Does everything that you’d expect, would have definitely got 5 stars if it came with a button to press to stop the seller from sending emails every few days asking for a product review. It’s a TV remote, it’s hardly something that people need to see a review for. Does it change the channel? Yes! Change volume? Yes! Turn the TV on and off without you having to get up? Yes! So if you like a TV remote that does EVERYTHING you’d expect it to do and have the relevant TV then buy it. If not buy something else and save yourself being hassled for a product review.

Worked exactly as the original and good value. Much better than repeatedly pressing the button to get it to change channel on the old one.
