Me and My Beast Boss, Vol. 1

Excellent
The concept is original. I donβt think Iβve seen another story where the beastmen are considered superior to humans. The artistry is excellent. The visual design of each character compliments their personality. But also, the choices of what to put in each frame go a long way to improving (or ruining) a manga. This is an easy read, which heightens enjoyment of the story. I liked the way the artist managed to convey βsoft focusβ by using more of a pencil sketch look, rather than heavy black lines. I detected no errors in the translation, and everything was translated. What I mean is, itβs annoying when the notations (like a heartbeat) are only in Japanese, but this book translated all that stuff. So thatβs all technical, and appreciated, but not enough to make me buy the next volume if I didnβt like the story. But Iβm definitely buying the next volume because I loved the story. The characters are deep and three-dimensional. They have flaws, as well as virtues, and they are actively working on their issues. So far, this is a sweet, love story that promises to be a long-time favorite.

Delightful
A very sweet premise that delivers! Our Female Lead (FL) is a very capable and hardworking human, who has dealt with significant prejudice at her workplace because of her species. She suffered significant abuse - not just mean words, but actual physical abuse - from her higher-ups. This manga treats that with the care and seriousness it deserves. The Male Lead (ML) is big and bold, but also a very kind and caring man. He has a heart proportional to his massive size. He wants to support FL, and is helping her come to terms with the fact that the people who have been cruel to her are wrong, that she is inherently valuable and that she is worthy of recognition. He also has a chauffeur who's a delight. Strict and proper, but with a deep heart as well.I'm so excited to see where this goes!

Earnestly Rooting For Saki
I feel the cute cover is slightly misleading when it comes to this story, but only because the harassment that Saki faces at work is VERY upsetting and definitely a little bit triggering. She is physically bullied and verbally harassed, and if I could, I rip her old boss from the page and have that man thrown in jail (or worse). π π π I would definitely give a heads up on that because it's not easy to see even if those scenes are brief.Despite that I have never read a "fury romance" and am still undecided if they are for me or not, I do think Oki's story is very compelling because of seeing how Atlas treats and respects her. I feel this is truly a story (or at least in volume one anyway) where we see Saki's hard work and dedication recognized as well as her learn and see what a POSITIVE relationship with a beastfolk and boss is. There were many times that my heart hurt for her in seeing why she has a hard time trusting as well as her being treated with dignity by Atlas. (I know two different opposite reasons, but they are both powerful for different reasons.) He is a wonderful boss and I do think the mangaka does a very compelling job of making you want to cheer for them to be together because of how gentle and caring he is for Saki. It was deeply beautiful to see in light of how she has been treated in the past. Plus, I will confess that both of them together have some really cute moments, and I really like the importance of communicating even if it's awkward, and the freedom and pride to be yourself. The ending was a HUGE shock! Considering that there are many moments of seeing racism between beastfolk and humans and the discussion of it in the workplace, I never expected a new character to come on the scene. I honestly have no idea what to expect moving forward though I think I would like to keep reading because I VERY much like Saki and am earnestly rooting for her to be able to be herself at work with no fear of physical injury and confidence in her skills.

Omfg
This is so heartwarming and healingAnd I ain't gonna lie, I am highkey envious of those headpats that Ms.Oki is gettin' like candy. >->I wish this series had 30 issues instead of just 2 books. But I guess I could just read the series 15 times lol. XD

Intersepcies Romance in the Office
I didn't know what to expect from this Manga Series but after reading the first volume, I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Both Saki and Atlas are great characters and I love seeing Atlas genuinely wanting Saki to succeed and hopes she will get used to being around him soon. And Saki's willingness to better herself and become someone worthy of standing by Atlas, as his assistant and maybe later on as someone even more important. Seeing a Manga couple that are adults instead of Teenagers is refreshing.Already pre-ordered Volume 2!Also in case anyone wants to know as far as we know right now,He is a BeastMan and does not have a human form like a few other Series that have that Trope, I know many people might not be into reading an Interspecies Romance Series like this so I thought they should know in advance. ππ¦It's sweet and Wholesome and filled with quite a bit of fluff π

wow...
Honestly, my title can't convey my feelings about this manga...The art is wonderful, expressions perfect and fitting, while the story is very engaging. I can't help finding some traits on Ms Oki and Mr Atlas close to myself, even if I think only a close friend of mine can be as cute in behavior to Mr Atlas... But I digress, sorry. The story is more than engaging and I am extremely impatient for a lot more books as well as an anime version.

Pretty sweet!
It's like "Beauty & the Beast" but corporate worker Γ CEO and in Japan? It's a nice, fresh take on corporate romances even if it is nonsensical. I love it!

Neat reading
Enjoyed this first volume, althought I feel it becomes kinda repetitive by the end. I feel like atlas emotion were developed too quickly for me.
