TopeakMTX Beam Rack E-Type

I have this on my MTB because I didn't want to have the inconvenience of constantly having to attach or remove a normal rack depending on what I was doing. This is great because it attaches to the seat post in a matter of seconds and can have the  Topeak MTX EX Trunk Bag  attached to it within another couple of seconds. It comes in three different angles depending on the bike and also works as a substitute rear mudguard. I have only bought one of these recently because I always worried that it would swing round the seat post, but it has rubber inserts and will fasten so tightly that this is never a problem.

Impressed with this product! Together with the topeak panniers and side frame I was able to cycle across france on my road bike. This would not have been possible with a normal frame, but the nifty seat post attachment in this design does the job!Note that the panniers are on the small side fpr such touring, bit with small size comes small weight.

Bought this alongside Topeak MTX DXP Trunk Bag. Great combination. This comes with several sizes of rubber inserts to fit different strut sizes. It fits really well and seems absolutely solid when attached. Love it!

Fantastic, so easy to fit, not rattling really happy with this so far although only had this a day so lets see how it copes with a longer ride.Only negative is that the quick release bracket slightly rubs on my thigh when leg is straight, it's okay when cycling but can rub when not pedaling.

Top quality, well designed and engineered product

I am pretty impressed with this product, it fits to my bike easily and the matching bag slides on with ease...perfect for an hour or a days cycle with small kids...perfect.

Convenient for daily commuting (using MTX DX bag), easy to mount on another bicycle.

This is a great piece of kit. my only gripe is the clamp rubs my thigh, and the clasp need to be at an odd ange to stop it.
