SilDerm 15 g Scar Gel

Have waited to review as I wanted to use it for a while first to give an honest review. The quality of this gel is exceptional, with a smooth and lightweight texture that absorbs easily into the skin. I've noticed a significant improvement in the appearance of my scars since using it, over the past 6 months. The gel helps to reduce redness and flatten raised scars, making them less noticeable over time. Additionally, it's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause any irritation. I appreciate the convenient size of the tube, making it perfect for on-the-go application. I would highly recommend this Scar Gel to anyone looking to diminish the appearance of scars.

I got this to help with a large wound on my neck from an op to remove a lipoma. I had read that silicone was recommended by plastic surgeons as a way to help large scars heal faster and more sympathetically so I wanted to give this gel a try. I looked at lots of different varieties and this one stood out.I have been using it for three months, maybe once a day, and it seems to have had some effect on my scar healing. It is looking very clean and tidy and the skin is supple and hasn't discoloured too much. Only time will tell, but I would recommend anyone who has a large wound that affects them cosmetically look into the best support for their healing as often the doctors and nurses will forget to give you the best advice.

2weeks use: Helps with the itching of the scar, but the scar is still red. I'm hoping this helps, and the keloid does not grow back. Will update in 3-4 months.

After breaking my wrist and having reconstructive surgery, my occupational therapist recommended this to me. 5 months after surgery my scar was still very swollen and itching and she said this would help.As it is not available on the NHS I reluctantly bought it as I felt it was very expensive for such a small amount, but I have been so happy with the result. Honestly worth every penny.As you use such a small amount at a time, the tube will last a long long time.I have also been using it on a keloid scar on a tattoo that has been there for over 2 years. I had given up hope that I could do anything about it, but it has reduced it dramatically.Cannot recommend this enough

I brought this for my daughter for a small scar she has on her upper arm. When it arrived i was shocked by the size of it, it looks like it belongs in a dolls house its so small. She used it as directed until it ran out which was not long and it did not change the look of the scar. Don't bother buying it there are better things on the market that are not trial size and actually work.

This is an amazing product. I had a burn that I wanted to minimise scarring for so I thought I'd try this. It has drastically reduced the redness of the scar. It's helped it heal a lot faster and it's now almost completely flat. I would definitely recommend trying it. It's easy to apply, just cut open the top and if you apply a thin layer as suggested it dries relatively quickly.

This stuff is amazing!! I re-pierced my tragus and within a week I noticed an unsightly lump! Tried to get rid of it with hot salt water compresses but after two weeks I gave up! I searched on Amazon and ordered this. Although my piercing is 3 weeks old and I shouldn't be applying anything except saline I desperately applied this straight away onto the bump before bed! The next day it was visibly reduced and there was no irritation despite the fact that my piercing has not healed. Applied it again the following a night and when I awoke the next morning-no bump! I haven't needed to reapply it since then as the bump hadn't reappeared! So it took two applications for this to work and The greatest thing about it is that this didn't irritate my piercing at all! Would definitely recommend!

The gel is great and goes a long way but the applicator is rubbish. Had to cut the whole top off the first tube and pierced a hole in the top of the second. Otherwise it’s great - my scars are much softer and the skin around them is less taut. Also using on my teenage son’s stretch marks across his back - they’re beginning to look less red, much smoother and again the skin is less taut around them.
