They can claim this because beef actually has BCAA's in it. A typical 6 oz. serving of lean beef (95%) will contain approximately 6.2 grams of BCAA's. A good cut of steak (about 3.5 oz) will contain around 6.8 grams of BCAA's. Having said all of that if you are like me and you believe in the positive effects of BCAA's then you should just spend the money and get a separate supplement. There are a lot of good products on Amazon for reasonable prices (I am not an Amazon employee and I do not receive any payments from them although they sure receive a lot from me).
