Good to have!
I was traveling alone and as a woman I was a bit worried about my safety. I took this on my carry on with no problems. I tested it out at home to make sure it worked and it is LOUD! I felt a bit more safe knowing it's capability if I needed it for any reason. I recommend getting this if you do anything alone and have a fear for your safety while you do it.

Awesome!
Bought this for my 16 yr old daughter. We tested it at home. It’s plenty loud and lights flash when you pull the pin. What I like best is the entire device can clip on to her purse and the pin doesn’t come apart from the device. Definitely gives us some peace of mind.

Always there when you need it.
I think even someone seeing that you have this alarm hanging on your purse, might deter someone from "bothering" you! I haven't had to use it, thankfully, but it's always right there and ready, just in case! It's a great thing to have these days, because you just never know who is lurking around in the shadows!!

Dead battery pink personal alarm
This pink one arrived dead. Glad I bought 2 at the same time as the black one works as it should! Just a heads up to check immediately like I did.

I’m liking that this personal alarm is legal. Both mom and I are H.O.H. yet I still went to the other side of the house to test it for exactly 1 second. She was at one end and I, the other. 130 dB is L O U D! Woe is to any potential attacker or stalker! May be a deterrent for loose dogs when I deliver packages. Chose the pink for breast cancer awareness and as a survivor. Great item! I’m getting more for family. Mine is clipped to my wrist keychain so it’s always with me.
