Does the job but it's a tight fit
I bought this so I could use spare batteries from my Nikon D3s in the battery grip of my backup D700. Usually, I always buy NIkon branded kit, but I decided to chance a cheaper item. Cosmetically, it's identical to the cover of the battery drawer that came with the D700's grip - the plastic stippled finish and logo is exactly the same.Functionally, it works fine. It clips to the battery and does the job of allowing it to be slid in and locked in place. The only minor niggle I have is that it needs to be pushed in with a little downward force in order to clear the top of the mouth of the battery grip. Like a lot of non-OEM gear, maybe the manufacturing tolerances aren't as good as the original.But that's no biggie and I'm happy with it. I'd buy another if I needed more.

Does what it is supposed to do
This product looks and feels just like the Nikon original at a fraction of the price. It fits the MB-D10 with an EN-EL4a attached and holds the battery in place, which is exactly what it is supposed to do. There is no reason to pay more.I have since bought two more for a second camera.
