Strappal Zinc Oxide Tape 2.5cm x 10m

I bought this to provide support to my thumb joint due to arthritis. It has worked well, especially as I can control the tightness (unlike with elastic sleeves that perform the same purpose) and because it is very thin material so does not foul on gloves etc. Generally I can successfully tear it with my teeth, so it's quick and easy to apply. I find I can wash my hands and the tape stays on, no problem. After removing the tape there is some gummy residue that is left on the thumb which can be quite stubborn, so I may be being harsh here but I have dropped it to 4 stars. Overall happy with this product.

For some reason my feet develop lots of blisters, old shoes, new shoes, it doesn't matter ... one day my feet will be ok, the next they will blister like made, on toes, on the sole, on top on the heel, you get it ... blister central! Anyway, if I know I'm going to be walking a fair a bit I will strap my feet up in this tape and I don't ever have a blister. This seriously became a game changer for me. I also used this tape when my son had a verruca, advice from the podiatrist was to file the verruca to the point to slight blood and then wrap in the this tape .. repeat till the verruca has gone. Took a couple of times, but it worked.,

This item has Strappal written through the middle, so is the genuine article. It is excellent for medical taping. My husband has been instructed by his physiotherapist to use this brand on his kneecaps. It does the job, but the tricky thing is getting it off. It leaves glue residue which is a nightmare to remove. It also caused some mild skin irritation, but this seems to be due to trying to get the glue off rather than an allergic reaction. It doesn't help if you've got hairy knees!

I am using this tape for my hands. As an american football player, my fingers absorbing a lot of bumps, so I tape them for practices. Product does, what is supposed to do and I am happy with it. My only problem is with marks left on a hand after tape is taken off. It is a little bit of hustle to get rid of them.

Bought this to strap my thumb and other future injuries. Used it during a martial arts class, adhesion held throughout the class and for 30 minutes of very sweaty sparring. Very happy with this product and very happy to recommend it.

The tape sticks too well to the skin and therefore difficult to remove without leaving some hard to remove white residue of the adhesive and possibly some skin damage or bruising. There may be some approved solvent which may overcome this problem. Also, on my physiotherapist's advice, its use as a strapping tape to hold my knee cap flat (I have knee caps which sit at an angle and hence due to grooves worn in the knee caps I suffer from arthritic pain), it proved to be of limited help and I have stopped using it.

Probably one of the better examples of this type of tape. Some glue came through the fabric and made a mess in my shower, but it's thick tape and strong so can the higher price is justified.

I have read so much about various tapes not being sticky and not lasting or being too sticky and pulling the skin off. This tape is perfect. I use it for Olympic weightlifting, I have trained and competed with it and it really lasts and then it comes off nice and easy when I'm done.Great for Olympic weightlifting.
