His Forbidden Pregnant Princess: Book 21 (Conveniently Wed!)

Luca, the hero, is as dark and compelling as the story. Sophia's and Luca's lives are so intertwined that (more than once) it seems impossible for their underlying emotional and sensual ties to each other to triumph. Both are seemingly locked into a life of expectation and protocol that has been set by promises made and shocking past events. As much as I occasionally despaired of Sophia for being so compliant, and Luca for being so imperious, I could not stop reading until their seemingly insurmountable obstacles had been overcome. Phew!

I quite enjoyed this story and happily recommend it. It’s not light hearted but evokes a great depth of emotions and hope that the hero will overcome his past.

This book was very dark and dreary. The plot was ok but very dark, dealing with childhood molestation. The H and h are step siblings who have had feelings for each other for a long time. The H shut off any emotions due to his childhood issues and what happened to him. The h was rejected by her father and felt she was unlovable. The ending felt rushed and not complete. The epilogue could have been longer.
