Perfect for running two Macbooks
This product perfectly solves the issue I was having where I wanted to share a 27" monitor, a wireless mouse, and a keyboard between two Macbooks; ideally, these laptops would also get charged while being connected to this docking station (which is usually one of the points of using a docking station). Both Macbooks (one being a 2019 Intel, the other being a 2021 M1) connect to the docking station through USB-C. Both respond perfectly, and switching peripherals between Macbooks happens in less than 5 seconds when clicking the 'switch' button on the docking station. My only (intermittent) minor issue is, is that the Intel Macbook (hooked up to 'PC1', and thus should be powered by Macbook power supply connected to the 'PC1 PD' port) sometimes doesn't get charged. This is not a huge deal, because realistically speaking, the 'PC1' Macbook is about 12" away from the docking station, so I can easily unplug the charging cable and plug it into the Macbook instead, but STILL). At times, the issue is alleviated by unplugging the 'PC1 PD' charger cable and plugging it back in when the dock is connected to the 'PC1' Macbook. It's not clear whether the issue is the Macbook, or the docking station. I didn't perform any additional troubleshooting (e.g. use the M1 as 'PC1'), since this is such a minor intermittent inconvenience, and honestly, it does NOT take away from how well this docking station works.TL;DR: If you're using two Macbooks, and have a need to share peripherals between the two, GET THIS DOCKING STATION!

EDITED - buyer beware, NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY
(Original review posted below)***UPDATE***This worked fine initially (despite dual display not being supported by one of my laptops - check out your graphics card specs!), but after less than 3 months of use, the product stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer for warranty support and because I purchased it from what they called an "unauthorized reseller", I was not able to get a replacement device. The seller was not willing to work with me on this point. Very unfortunate that there's not a better solution for this problem many of us have, but don't throw so much money into this one (or, if you do, buy it from the manufacturer or authorized reseller).----ORIGINAL POST-----Very excited to finally have a dock that just makes sense! Plug and play, ready to use out of box. One of my laptops won't allow for dual displays via USBC but the other pieces of the dock are so perfect and finally affordable for the home office worker.

Pricey. Great to switch between two laptops and share monitors and USB peripherials
I was looking for a product that would allow me to share two monitors and USB peripherials (mouse, keyboard, headset) between two laptops. This device does just that. It allows the user to switch between the two laptops at the click of a button and use the monitors and peripherials as though you had phisically disconnected one laptop and connected the other. Exactly what I was looking for. On the drawback side, I believe the price to be too steep for such a device. It looks a bit like a more affordable kind of hardware judging from the tangible quality of the enclosure and power source. There is no way this should cost close to $300! I hope it will last. Definitely, please set a more reasonable price point for this. I am sure it will sell faster.

Stopped working after 11 months
PC1 connection is no longer functional after 11 months old use. Otherwise worked fine and PC2 connection still works.

Complete (but expensive) option for USB-C KVM + Dock
Looked at a few options here. Had a Plugable dock and purchased the only other USB-C KVM switch I could find... was about $80, claimed to manage PD. Jittery screen on one laptop, keyboard/mouse lag on the other laptop.Only a few hours of usage on the VT2900 and already know this is the perfect solution. I'm running a personal Yoga 9i and a corporate Thinkpad. Single monitor (for now), Logi combo, Logi Litra, Logi camera. Switching between devices is about a 2-second lag on the monitor when both machines are powered on.Small footprint on my desk.Only criticisms1) Switch cable could stand to be 1.5m longer... had to stretch it to run under the desk surface and mount near my chair for easy toggling. It's probably 36".2) USB-C ports are on the front of the dock. From a cleanliness / cable-management perspective, this one will probably drive me crazy over time.Neither complaint is enough to lower from 5 to 4 stars.

Lowest cost dual display KVM with poor mac support
Nearly half the price of the comparable Startech and IoGear, you get what you pay for. Light weight and cheaply made feeling, Thin plastic. No support of DIsplaylink on Mac. Extended display only on PC, Mac is mirroring only. Has slower USB ports only, 1x DP 1x HDMI.

Causes a litany of device connection issues
The media could not be loaded. Do you enjoy listening to the usb connect / disconnect tone repeated for infinity? If so, this is the hub for you. Simply does not work properly. Constantly disconnects and reconnects. Tested on multiple systems.
