Q: Hi, how thick it is? I'm using to wrap books covers etc, thank you.

I think it would be fine for covering books. The description says 0.15mm and it is very flexible.

Q: Can it be cut to size needed?

Hi, Yes I used it to cover the top of my parents fireplace which is carved into an scalloped shape… I was able to make a template, I transferred the shape onto the material with a sharpie and then cut with scissors. Just protects the top from cup/glass marks etc. Hope that helps Sammy
