Best Alucard figure by far
It's everyone's favourite incarnation of Dracula, now in Revoltech form! And rather well-realised considering, too.Articulation is pretty good, considering that Alucard, and indeed the majority of the Hellsing cast, would probably suit Figma bodies better. He can certainly strike poses very reminiscent of panels from the manga, and his coat-tails in particular really add to your options. Sculpting overall is similarly good, with the trademark wide-brimmed hat working far better than I expected it to, but his head and face-sculpts might not appeal to everyone. He could've certainly done with his signature psycho toothy grin.Paintwork; not much to say, overall pretty good. His coat is a VERY dark red, though, comparable to some deep red wines. This might put some folk off as it's not really very similar to the brighter red in most other media. The darker colour was apparently at the request of Kohta Hirano himself, and perhaps meant to be more evocative of the manga.Accessory wise, you've got a handful of expressive hands, his hat, 2 pairs of goggles, a few stands, and most importantly, the Casull .454 and the Jackal. His dual hand-cannons are appropriately scaled (the Jackal actually IS marginally bigger), painted with precision detail and look fantastic in pretty much any situation. All his accessories are overall pretty damn cool, although his Cromwell Initiative hands are fiddly and really only usable for one specific pose. Be careful with those goggles too, because they are TINY and could be extremely easy to lose.Overall, he's definitely worth looking at if you're a big Hellsing fan; he looks great as a display piece and does enough to be fun to just mess around with. Just be aware that you're not getting a massively durable toy, you need to be careful with any of these things, and some smaller revolver joints can break if you're too rough with them.
