power cord is light without an inline fuse..... pump got extremely hot after about 5 minutes
pump is priced fairly. kit comes with 1 inch fitting which is difficult to fit(or find) accessories for. should include 3/4 inch fittings. pump did the job of pumping heating oil through 50 feet of heavy duty garden hose up 6 feet through a basement window. the pump runs slow pumping oil at 6 gallons per minute versus the advertised 10 gallons per minute.it did the job.after 5 trips to the hardware store i was able to retrofit down to 3/4 inch fittings and find a heavier duty electrical cord with the addition of an inline fuse.it beats pump oil by hand but time will tell how long this one will last...i also have the harbor one way freight pump and that one is stronger by far and has lasted 4 years at this point. that pump instills much more confidence...
