Pricey but very useful
I ordered these because the description matched exactly what I was looking for i.e. shapers which had very small heads and which were not too soft and floppy. Some which were listed by other sellers did not have a clear description. These are extremely small, suitable for detailed pastel work, and firm. I think they are rather pricey but there is a set of different shaped heads in the pack. I have been using them alongside my much larger shapers with soft heads which you can often buy cheaply at places like Lidl and The Works.

Perfect for model making
For 'pushing' and smoothing modelling putties, like green stuff and procreate..You can't beat these tools.I SO wish I'd known about them sooner. No good for ultra fine detail work at the scale I tend to work at...But for saving time and saving frustration when you're trying to get a good finish on a small model, you can't beat them.Phil.

Must have in your pastels box
Good size and firmness for my use with pastels and pastel pencils. Allows me to blend in small areas which is great for animal or flower paintings where fine detail is needed. I also use them in my watercolour painting for applying masking fluid. Very versatile product, well made and certainly fit for purpose

Excellent sculpting tools.
Bought for sculpting with FIMO and various paper clays. Not ultra fine, but sets a very good base for later refinement. Love these.

Saves your brushes!
No danger of getting masking fluid stuck on your watercolour brushes with these. I tend to use masking fluid fairly sparingly so was pleased to get a set of these that are all for small applications, but mixed sizes are available too. If the fluid dries on the "point" you can just piggle (technical term) it off with your thumb. Does the job. Can also use with charcoal and pastels I believe to do smudging etc.

Good
Quite good, but perhaps not the best tools for what I'm sculpting

Happy with my purchase! However, I do find the price a bit steep...

Useful for polymer and air dry clay.
These were a great bargain to what the local art stores were selling. They are still a good deal, even now at the time of the review. I find them useful when working with polymer clay or various air dry clays. The medium firm are my favorite for most of the clays I've worked with. (soft to medium hardness. Examples: Lumina/Modena, hearty clay, Ladoll, delight, Apoxie Sculpt, Sculpty III, Premo). I may have had to glue down a loose ferrule here or there, but otherwise the tools I have are still just as functional as when i got them. E6000 is one glue I've found great for fixing ferrule issues with many paint brushes.I use them mostly to shape the edges of leaves, veining and texturing, smoothing.

ottimi
