Wet and Dry Sandpaper 7000grit 5 Sheets 230 x 280mm Waterproof Paper STARCKE Matador

Having sanded out the deep scratches from my watch glass which is a form of hard plastic , I used progressively lighter papers to polish back toTotally clear. I completed the job using this 7000 grade and water . This produced a most acceptable finish. However, the ultimate lustre was achieved by rubbing on news paper. It took some time but the finish was perfect. This paper saved me from having to purchase expensive jewellers compound. I also used it to re polish the stainless steel strap.

Great for polishing high grade steel, leaves a nice smooth finish on chisel surfaces - if a bit too fine for a plane iron (would need to sand wood after so as to get wax to take, lol.Arrived on time, in good condition - despite being sent via Royal Mail ;)Only had protection on one side(feedback).

special ultra fine for polishing the working bevel of chisels, plane irons, much cheaper than spending £££ on Japanese water stones. Don't use on kitchen knives, cooks work so much faster than cabinet makers and luthiers, they don't expect edges to be that sharp.
