Q: can u wash them in washer

I have never washed these coasters and I’ve had them for about 9 months. I usually wipe them with a damp cloth and they’re as beautiful now as when I first received them. I don’t think they will do well in a washing machine but that’s just a guess on my part. What I can tell is that they’re absolutely lovely, make the table look great and protect the surface. You’ll enjoy them.

Q: Do these have any type of backing to them like rubber or cork so it doesn't soak thru the material from ur glass?

There is something firm inside that I can feel and then there is cloth on the back. We have never had even the most sweaty glasses soak through. Best coasters we have ever owned.
