Spigen DuraPro Cable Garage Door Pass Protector Designed for Tesla Mobile Charger and Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector (Tesla Model 3/Y/X/S 2025/2024/2023/2022)

Had for about two weeks now and works as expected. Protects the chord from the garage door. I would say if it was a bit more lower it would be perfect as it does leave a slight gap on the garage door. Great price for the item and the material is very durable.

It really does a good job protecting a cable when the garage door is closed

I usually don’t write reviews. But I thought this warranted one. I recently bought an EV and needed a pass through for my garage so I didn’t smash the charging cable. I knew this was designed for a Tesla 3 charger, but I loved the way that it slanted at the edges. It allows a much tighter seal than the square pass throughs. My charging cable was slightly thicker than that of a Tesla 3 charger, but this was a very simple fix. To avoid pinching the cable, because it’s thicker than what this is designed for, I went to Home Depot and bought 4-1/4 in. x 6 in. Brown Rectangular Felt Heavy-Duty Self-Adhesive Furniture Sheet (2-Pack). I placed one pad on each side and trimmed the excess to keep the original shape. This worked amazing. This provides amazing protection by increasing the gap for my EV charging cable. It even allows for a little wiggle room. I HIGHLY recommend this if you’re looking for a pass through for under the garage. Also, I’m using the Grizzl-e smart avalanche charger.

While it is specifically designed for the Tesla mobile charger, I had a need for it to work with the Emporia charger cable and it has worked fine. It is lightweight so pretty much every time I unplug my car, the protector moves and has to be realigned every time.

I am very happy with this product. I bought it so that my garage door doesn’t close directly onto the charger cable. This works great, it is compatible with my Tesla Wall Charger Gen 3. It allows some wiggle room when the garage door is closed and the cable needs a little movement. I think it is a bit pricey, but I looked into it as an investment so my charger doesn’t get damaged. No installation required, just lay it flat onto where the garage door closes and your good to go.

The cable on itself is better protected than this Spigen protector. I'm returning this product. On a Tesla Wall charger (latest 3rd gen), this Spigen protector presses the cable and the edges of this plastic cover are a little too sharp, leaving close to cutting marks on the charger cable.Avoid. Instead, I bought a heavy thick rubber sleeve that does a vastly better job.

I’ve had it for one month so far and it works really well! I know that my garage is secure when it’s closed with this in place and there’s enough space for the original Tesla charging cord to go through the hole without being crushed. It’s super easy to use. Would highly recommend it.
