Sunshimmer Instant Tan + Gradual Glow Matte - Medium

Awsome product, has always been. Applies easily and evenly with a bit of practice gives a perfectly natural looking tan. Even makes my skintone look more even. It's slightly dry, so I mix it with a bit of good quality fragrance free body lotion for the perfect tan. Washes of easily with soap and water but resistant enough not to run or smear with a bit of sweat. I wear it to gym since I'm very pale. I hope this product will be on the market forever!

This product did nothing. It gave very little color and the smell was kind of annoying. It also made my skin kind of greasy and the product was certainly not waterproof. Will likely toss...very disappointed after seeing positive reviews

I have been using this product all summer long and like it. I like that I get a natural immediate glow and that, over time, I get a lasting fake tan that really doesn't look fake at all. I don't get any streaking or dark areas when I use this and I am not overly careful about applying.This is matte so there is no shimmer even though it is called Rimmel Sun Shimmer. I don't like glittery self tanners and bronzers so I am pleased about that. The temporary bronzing color, once dry, is quite resistant to transferring or fading. It won't run if it is humid or you get a little wet but it will come off if you swim when you towel off. I wear it for evenings out and also during the day when I am not planning on swimming.The only thing that is a bit meh about it is that it has a bit of a funky odor. Most self tanners do and this isn't as bad as Jergen's Gradual Tanner or other brands but it's still there. It's not terrible smelling, just lets people now you're wearing self tanner. Luckily the scent fades after a couple of hours. But as for performance, it's the perfect (and cheap) two in one tanning product for me. If you want just a temporary body bronzer,  Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan Make Up  is excellent and no funky odor.

I always use Sunshimmer and have never had an issue with this product. Unfortunately when I opened this tube, green sludge ran out of it. I closed it and gave it a shake, but on opening it again, the same thing happened. Very disappointed as I needed it for the weekend.

Used this years ago to top up tan on legs. Thought would give it another go as It is instant so you know what it looks like straight away. I know it's not waterproof but that element is not at the top of my requirements as not poolside or beach going. Good item, glad I rediscovered it.

Bought this as advertised as an Instant Tan so bought for my face.When you open the bottle be careful as very runny, after a good shake with top on a little better. Goes on easily and seems into skin fast. It does seem to be darkish green when first on skin but then brown. Do scrub your palms after applying or they will stain greeny brown. I have applied to my already brownish face, so waiting for it to develop! Rimmed usually make good stuff so hopefully will work out, super cheap too. Take your time applying and rub in well, always tissue eyebrows, elbows and behind knees to remove excess.
