Sagaform 5017178 Oval Oak Salt/-Pepper Set, Braun/Transparent, 4.8x4.8x11.5 cm

I am "over" p+s grinders. They get stuck & wont grind, are tricky to fill, my silver ones need constant polishing, too big on table etc etc. So I went looking for some that would better suit me. And I found these. My only concern was that I may not be able to use grounded pepper in case the holes were too small, as I don't want powdered pepper . So I purchased just one set to check it out. I ordered it late-ish yesterday (Sunday) and it arrived here 11am today (Monday). They are very elegant and look just lovely on my garden-room dining area. The pre-ground peppers go thru very well, albeit a little slowly. They are a little bit fragile so probably not suitable for picnics and rugby dinners. Only problem is - I need two sets! So am going to order one as soon as I send this off. I am very very happy with them. Diane C, London

Poor quality. The glass is very thin and the holes are so small that very little pepper and salt come out. We have binned both items.

Elegant, keeps salt and pepper dry

I am in love with these, however used only once by a guest (as I have a salt free diet) the salt shaker top where the ball stopper is reset, is so delicate it broke through. Seems that o e is thicker than the other as I used the pepper on daily and havent had any issues.But it's still a really lovely product.

They look fine when you open them so I got rid of the packaging straight away. However the holes are very small and inadequate, particularly for shaking salt . The biggest disappointment however is that they are different sizes. The salt is a couple of cms shorter than the pepper and they look very odd when paired together. If I had the packaging then they’d be going straight back, but as it is, I guess I’m limited in what I can do. Please be aware of this if you’re thinking of buying.

Super soddisfatta dell'acquisto: vetro borosilicato e legno di qualità, sia alla vista che al tatto.Il contenitore del sale ha 3 fori, quello del pepe 2. I fori si coprono con la pallina di legno, che sigilla chiudendo solo in appoggio.Contentissima! Li ho messi in bella mostra in cucina.
