I love the color of this bag, I love the butterflies on the bag and I love that all the features (durability, sturdiness and light weight) are spot on. Why I only rated it 3 stars is because to use the "hidden handle" you you cannot zip the bag all the way closed. There are NO extra pockets and the bag fits so snuggly that you cannot add anything to it without risk of scratching up your laptop. I do have a protective skin on my laptop but still for this price point I would have expected more. I should have read the product description better. I kept the bag because it is so pretty and I was in desperate need of something to fit my 17.3 inch laptop.

Like length of shoulder strap and roominess inside.

I was going to give this sleeve 4 stars but I'll boost it up to 5 for Amazons 5 star customer service. I have a 17.3" Toshiba Qosmio Laptop that fits very well in the sleeve. It's nice and Snug at the bottom and sides with about an inch of room left at the top area. Even with the extra room at the top, my laptop will not move around because the overall fit is snug, they just give you a little extra room in case you need to thrown in perhaps your power cord etc. The external detachable should strap is what I love the most and the reason I purchased the sleeve in the first place. My others lack this feature. Hidden inside the sleeve up top where the zippers meet are the handles for hand carrying. That's where the 4 stars come in. If you are using the handles, you can only close the zipper until you reach the edge of the handle, which leaves a small portion of the sleeve open underneath the handle. It doesn't hinder the functionality but it would have been nice to include a fold over flap to cover the exposed portion underneath the handles. Small design flaw. So I push in the handles, zip the bag all the way and just use the shoulder strap if it's bad weather. If the weather is okay, it doesn't matter about using the handles. If you like this bag, this same company (Meffort)has a combo that offers not only the bag, but the matching mouse pad, the matching kindle or ipad skin and the laptop wrist skin all in one bundle for just a few bucks more. The only difference is that you have to order from the company direct. I actually ordered from them first and didn't' realize Amazon had this one with prime but it didn't have the extra's.

Love this bag. Very simple and strong appeal, not bulky and hard so when it bumps into my side as I walk it doesn't bother me. Another pro: not many other laptop carriers on amazon offered a strap with the sleeve bag so being able to carry on my shoulder AND/OR with the hidden handles in my hand is a plus...never liked the idea of having to carry it like a baby.Why just 3 stars? Just three reasons that may not be an issue for another buyer:1) the clasps that connect to the carrier makes an awfully annoying sound when they rub together, as I walk. Doesn't matter the shoulder/side it's on, doesn't matter how I adjust the strap. Very similar sound to that of a sneaker that has a busted air bubble; that kind of squeaky/squishy sound you hear whenever you take a step. The clasps nor the parts on the carrier they connect to are rusty and I'm pretty creative so I've tried a million things to try to get it to stop--- haven't been successful yet. I think try using an oil next (one that doesn't attract any bugs or rodents) to very lightly oil the clasp and the metal part on the carrier anyway to see if it helps w/ the sound.2) I'm not comfortable w/ the level of protection the carrier offers should I accidentally drop the laptop (which I never plan to do). It's bendable and seems like any shock the laptop can receive would be immediately absorbed.3) There's no separate part for storing the power cord, etc which bothers me out of fear that the power cord will scratch the top of my laptop when it's in there. For now, I place the power cord and everything else that can damage the laptop in an overside ziplock bag and that seems to work, but considering the hassle of having to do that, makes me feel like I'd appreciate that option in a carrying case next time.Don't want to discredit the bag b/c I'm very satisfied w/ my purchase overall. Another pro: fits my HP 17.3" laptop perfectly. Not too big and not too snug.

It's a great bag, love the design on it. But, everything goes into on space, no pockets to separate things so your laptop doesn't get scratches from the power cords or mouse or anything else you put in with it.

Honestly, I absolutely LOVE the design. My only two problems I had with this was 1) the inside handles... a little useless if you want to zip up the case & keep your laptop secure especially while traveling. I've seen some of the smaller versions of this in the same company with the handles on the outside, better design ;) However the shoulder strap makes up for it! 2) the case itself was a touch thinner than I expected. Will it keep your stuff from getting scratched up, yes, but that's it. Add in another layer of neoprene & you might be a touch better.Why am I still happy, honestly I wanted the design, I have a great laptop carrier, but wanted to save some space since I was just going to shove it into my carry on anyway.

Very nice bag - I love the design and the bag itself ---- EXCEPT that the colors ran. No, it never got wet or even moist. Where there should be dots, there are streaks.

It seems difficult to buy anything in UK to transport a 17.3" laptop around that isn't plain black. I wanted the Laurex laptop backpack but Amazon USA wouldn't ship it and Amazon UK no longer stock it! This carrying case just fits bill of being practical & stylish and is about a third of the price. It seems strong enough to carry the weight and it sits easily on the shoulder and under the arm. There are hidden handles to hand hold it but the zips then don't meet and a 17 inch laptop is quite heavy so I don't think I'll be using them but good to have the option. There's nowhere to keep the power lead or portable mouse but that keeps it slimline & cheaper - after all it's a sleeve not a bag. I'm very pleased and it looks so steampunk.

Product with good quality. Identical to the description online.And the most of all, the pattern design on the bag is brilliant.The only thing is, my laptop is Dell Insprion 17.3" and the width of it doesn't quite fit with the bag, although both the height and the length fit in very well.Hence the whole thing feels very loose if you carry it around across your shoulder in the street.But is ok if you simply use it as a protective case and carry your laptop around within your backpack.The 17.3 inches laptop are heavy and bulky anyway.
