The Jackbox Games Party Pack Volume 1 (PS4)

Purchased this game for when i have friends round and we've already had our monies worth!!This game cleverly allows players to use their smartphone or tablet instead of controllers, meaning you are not limited to how many expensive dual shock controllers you own. This is done by setting up the game with a single controller and then each player enters the code displayed on the tv screen on the jackbox tv website. From there each player can then use their smartphone/tablet in order to play the game.There are a total of 5 games on the disk, my personal favourites are "drawful" and "fibbage" Drawful involves the players each being assigned a random word or statement that they must then draw on their smartphone/tablet. Their picture is then displayed on the screen and every other player then has to type what they believe the picture represents. All of these answers are then displayed on the screen along with the correct answer. Players must then choose which answer is correct. The person who drew the picture receives points for each person who voted for the correct answer while other players will receive points if there created answer is selected.Fibbage involves a statement being displayed on the screen with a keyword being left out. Players must then type in a word onto their device which could be placed into the blank space on the statement. All of the players answers will then be displayed on the screen along with the actual answer and even a few additional fake answers created by the game. Each player then votes as to which answer they think fits into the blank space.Players are awarded points for guessing the correct answer and for each person who votes for their made up answer.The only caution i would give to this item is that it is rated as a 12. Now obviously depending on what age range is playing (and how many drinks people may have had), these games could quickly become more suitable for a mature audience!This item is definitely worth the price and is a lot of fun. I would highly recommend for anyone who is planning an evening with friends.

The ease in which you can participate in a game on your mobile device, really needs to be commended and I'm not sure why other games haven't incorporated this technology. The only gripe for me is the game is very American based and if you're from the U.K like me, some of the questions are far too U.S centric to even understand. It would be amazing if there was an English version.

Very funny. Drawful and Fibbage are the best. However, we found that it doesn't take long for the questions to repeat themselves so you know most of the answers once you've played it a few times! Would have been 5* if it didn't repeat so often.

It's ok, I love fibbage and the drawing game, but the other games are a bit boring and not so good for parties.

The quiz show host makes you want to gouge your own eyes out, the same questions are repeated over and over again, goodness only knows what Word Spud is about and Drawful can only be played with 3 or more players. Fibbage has potential (a little like the TV show Would I Lie To You) and the way you can all play through your phones is cool but give me a game of Buzz any day.

Really fun when playing in a group and everyone can connect via their phones.
