It WORKS great!!
We battled with sun rises shining into our garage opener sensor preventing us from closing the door. We tried all kinds of home made shades with no success. We bought this one which took 5 seconds to install and IT WORKS GREAT!!

Did not work
Unfortunately this cover does nothing to block direct sun that shines in on the Genie garage door sensor. And the fit was extremely tight... Had a terrible time trying to get it back off! Garbage. I feel it was a waste of money.

Finally something that works
South facing house in the summer could not get my garage door to close. Put this on the sensor and it works great. Only 4 stars because it costs $27.00 which seems to high for some plastic. But it does work well.

It didn't work.
It looks good and should have done the trick but it didn't work. We called a garage door repairman who came up with a solution.
