There are a lot of beads here, and they are of a decent quality.Loads of scope for making bracelets, etc, although could do with a better ratio of vowels to consonants.Supposed to be for three and up, but the beads are a little small, so would suggest at least five +

Got this set for my 5 year old nephew, he really enjoys making beaded bracelets and key rings for his friends & family. This set comes with a load of multi coloured plain plastic beads along with a large selection of lettered beads in different styles/colours. It also contains the thread and charms required to make different items. He was very pleased with it and liked the different variety of letters. I also found the beads were bigger than some of the others we’ve used, which makes them less fiddly and easier to thread. He mixed and matched with other sets he has to make me a bracelet for Xmas.As is quite common with these sets, the box is pink and covered in hearts, so clearly targeted for girls. I find this a real shame as it may put some boys off using them. Luckily, my nephew doesn’t seem to care and once you remove the beads from the outer box they are stored in a neat little clear coloured compartmented clip box.Keeps kids entertained, promotes creative play and develops dexterity. Good value for money too.

Likes : 1) Comes in a decent plastic storage box2) good beginners kit3) keeps kids occupied for hours and keeps them away from the Tele.4) the elastic string is very soft and not sharp at all so that is a bonus. The beads are made of good quality too so won't hurt kids when they wear them.5) it brings out their creative side and also helps improve their focus and concentration6) Reasonably priced7) Pony beads are bright and colourful and look very prettyDislike: 1) the number of vowel beads is less. Would need more of the vowel beads to make more bracelets2) The age range on the box is 3+ however, the beads are small and I personally do not think are suitable for 3 year olds. Feels more suitable for 8 plus year old kids

I’m very impressed with the amount of alphabet beads in this set, I didn’t even know some of these types existed! But it’s still hard to find some letters despite there being so many beads which can be a little annoying

The bead set is very funky with bright coloured big plastic beads that were popular in the 90's. It came in a nice box and would be great for gifting. It is a good value set with a lot of different types of beads to make a great variety of bracelets and necklaces.

My youngest loves this.. she's having great fun making us all name bracelets. There's lots to choose from inside the kit. Plenty of letters and all fabulous colours. A great gift and great for the imagination...Very happy little person. Also comes in a very organised carry case too.

The beads are fun to play with, my girls love them. They are easy to put onto the string.

My niece is into making bracelet and she love this set. She said it gives her lots of choices to make a lot of different designs of bracelets. She's having a lot of fun with it and it's keeping her busy. Haven't heard the dreaded "I'm bored" in a while.

So fun to do the kids enjoyed. Good activity for a girls party!
