RIOLIS Cross Stitch Kit - 1469 - Hedgehogs in Lingonberries

Bought this as a gift for a regular cross stitcher, she really liked the lovely design. Told her that some mentioned the grid is in colour which she admitted does make it a little awkward as she likes to colour in herself the bits that had been completed but she said this would be fixed by just photocopying the grid so it was in black and white. Otherwise she was really pleased with this kit especially mentioning the already sorted threads for ease of use.

Stunning picture that I couldn't wait to start,the chart is colour coded which can be hard for beginners to keep track .The only criticism is as a cross stitcher I thought this would be threads/floss not fine wool,which if you pull too hard pulls apart easy.

I was looking forward to using this cross stitch. Unfortunately I found the colour chart was too difficult to read. The instructions also appeared to be translated into English causing some concern but this problem could have been dealt with eventually. I would not recommend this item for beginners.

I’ve bought three kits from Riolis , and the finished product is lovely. But in all the three kits I worked on, there wasn’t enough thread on at least 4 colours.I wasn’t extravagant with the thread either.They just don’t give you enough thread. So unfortunately, I won’t be buying Riolis again.

Design is nice, kit is ok but the guide picture chart is in colour which makes it very difficult to work with. Whoever makes the kit has never made a cross stitch.

Nice picture cute and made a nice birthday gift will enjoy working on it came when expected and value for money

Excellent cross stitch, wasn’t sure about the wool thread but found it quite easy to use, I’ve only bought silk based cross stitch before 5*

I have not finished it yet but loving the coloured chart and wool threads all wound up on card .It is so easy to follow . Hope my granddaughter will like the finished product .
