'Always Faithful'
Here's a strong collection of poetry telling of life as a divine symphony, with hope and love as main conductor. It's about finding strength in faith, and safety in being a servant of God.These poems indeed are telling both of the grandiose world around as the Lord's canvas, and, the more mundane aspects of our daily lives -work, families, relationships as a whole. Calling it 'mundane' may sound pejorative, but it's everything but. The authors surely are strong Christians, but they never preach in a condescending or lecturing manner. If anything, I was struck by their humility, their understanding that life should be spent in serving and giving, values that will echo with many regardless of your religious creed (or lack thereof). It can be profound (most poems read like prayers). It can be quirky (they dare clerihews about Judas and Peter!). It can be very simple yet straightforward in its depiction of human's fate, as well as containing deeper spiritual meaning (e.g. 'To Live is to Love' might be one of my favourite poem here). Each stanza though, each verse, resonate like an heartbeat beating for us all. It actually has a conversational style which makes for great reading aloud!'Semper Fi' is a beautiful collection full of hope, embracing Love in its wider meaning -an healing and exalted feeling echoing both the spiritual attachment to a Supreme Being, and, the thin yet indestructible thread connecting us all. Beautiful!

Inspirational 😌
I am not a fan of poetry and Im not a poet either but this book made me appreciate how beautiful it is to read stories of faith, hope and love with a rhyme ❤️😌 Semper fi took me to a journey of finding , believing and staying in love with the authors random stories through poems. It reminds me to keep the faith specially during times of adversities 🙏🏼 “ Only little children know this seed. Trust like them with faith when in need “Flipping thru the pages , I felt like each poetry has its own life ...some has painted a smile on my face like the cute short stories of summer and quite few pages made me weep...I admire how they both shared their personal stories and struggles which could be my and anybody’s story too...😌 Having this book is like owning a piece of a beautiful fabric , worthy to keep and share at the same time.

The October book...
My son, Angelo who is an autistic kid named this "October book" and has been asking for it from time to time while reading that particular Octoberies poem. I love how Mam Rosario expressed her faith to God through her poems. My son's fave book, the first ever poetry book he ever requested and re-read repeatedly. Semper Fi, the book i recommend for everyone to read.

Semper fi (poetry)
"Semper Fi" is a wonderful collection of poems and verses that has inspired and awaken my emotions to the very core. The authors Ivan and Rosario Villaluz speak their emotions through rhythmic ways of playing with words just like a lullaby that offers comfort to my weary soul and inspire my cheerful heart. The likeness of their emotions to mine makes me gullible to be "always faithful".While turning into the pages, I got to experience tides of emotions. There comes that I giggle, grin, feel inspired, feel in loved, and believe me or not, at times, I can't kept my tears from rollin' down. The "Afflictio" portion of the book is also heart tightening that sometimes I have to pause for a while to reflect on the lines. "Life's a Poem" surely makes me love poems because "life's indeed a poem, where God's the greatest writer hid in a poet", more so, the "Pen and Paper Love Story" awakens my interest to get hold of a pen and paper and start inking. This is what "SEMPER FI" is, always faithful even in times of adversities. It reminds me that if my life is stimulated by LOVE, this will always magnify my FAITH, and where faith is, there is always HOPE.
