great practice book
I bought the Mental Arithmetic series for my daughter. A friend recommended it to me, and I’m glad I gave it a try. The book offers a wide variety of exercises, which really keeps things engaging. My daughter started from Book 1 and has now progressed to Book 3. It’s been amazing to see her noticeable improvement. Highly recommend.

Great for 11+ preps
My son is preping for 11+ and these books are perfect - great range of topics. Gave it 4 starts because there are no answers and I have to buy them separately.

Slightly more challenging
I really like Schofield and Smith, I find their syllabus just a little more challenging than other providers. I like the way the questions are laid out as well. Just a nice format.

Answers are free when you scan the QR code on the back.
Excellent books, have used them for many years in my career as a primary school teacher. Don't waste money buying a hard-copy of the answers, you just need to scan the QR code on the back of the book when it comes and it takes you to Scofield and Sims own, free resources webpage where you can download the answers (and many other things) for free!
