Good fit
Used on a 24ft pontoon, mounted on Bimini top. Originally had a 36" light that was too long. This one fits perfectly and looks great. Nice and bright, easy to wire up. Works as intended. Would recommend

Easy to install on my party barge and has a very bright light that doesn't use much power from my battery.

A plastic replacement globe was bout $10.....for another 2 or so.....this comes with a glass glove and very well made.

Good all around light but hampered by a weak clamp.
The light is reasonably sturdy and quite bright. The stainless steel tube is strong. Where there is a problem is with the clamp to adjust the angle of the light. The clamp doesn’t provide sufficient clamping to prevent the light from loosening. My old light was much better as far as clamping went but was too short for my application. If this issue is resolved I would rate it 5 stars.

Faulty socket connection
After soldering this entire fixture on the light only worked when it was moved around. Taking the cover off and trying to adjust the bulb led to a too thin and weak prong simply falling off. It was a frustrating amount of work for such a poor design. I suggest looking for something with a much more robust bulb.

Works great, but immediately got water inside the lens
Light went in easily, and makes great light. Two negatives: 1) There are FOUR mounting holes, which doesn't work well for mounting to pontoon top frames. (most have only two holes) so I trimmed it to work. 2) The lens of the light got water in it the first time it rained. This worries me that it will not last long, hence the medium rating. Would have been 5-stars otherwise.
