Great quality camera, that takes fantastic pictures.
Purchased this camera for a friend who does marketing. She loves the camera and is pleased with the quality of pictures and with its convenient size can take it everywhere.

Unreliable, piece of junk.
Purchased because I forgot to bring my Canon camera on a recent trip. The shutter speed is as slow as a turtle. The battery does not last long, run down around 30 pictures. Some pictures on a recent hike just disappeared, which makes the camera an unreliable tool. The pictures that did make it, were good quality. If the battery is removed to charge, all settings in the camera return to default settings. Don't waste your money with this piece of junk.

Pretty Good Deal
I've only had this camera for a couple of weeks. Most photos come out very nice, but some have come out very blurry. Maybe it's me, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Oh yeah, I'm not an amateur, I was a Combat Photographer and writer in the service.

Nice camera for the cost
I got this camera for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She loves it. It takes petty good pictures. It takes a bit of a learning curve to use the features as she had to spend some time working with it but she quickly caught on and loves it!Great camera for a beginner photographer or teen who wants to take higher quality pictures.

PICTURES ARE AVERAGE
I chose this to replace my older Minolta (Only because I could NO longer find that model that I purchased 3x). The set-up for adjustment is quite different and takes longer to set-up. Honestly I should have sent it back because I take close-ups of Jewelry. No matter what I've done, they are always DARK? Grainy, even. I have not used it outside, so perhaps IF that is what you would like it for....it would be o.k. I am just disappointed with Minolta on this one. Only good thing is the lithium-ion battery, which I charge more frequently than the older one. Well, maybe I should still investigate a different model.

Don’t waste your money
When I was looking for a camera for my child, I really wanted one like I have. Unfortunately they no longer sell the model of my camera. So I bought his one thinking Minolta has been a good brand. But the quality of this camera doesn’t match the price. It’s a cheap piece of junk. The camera is slow and takes blurry pictures. It’s as bad as a disposable camera. My kid likes it, thought so I guess it will just be an expensive practice camera.

Minolta Digital Camera is poor quality
Terrible quality photos; only good thing about this camera is the compact size. I wrote to Minolta to try to get a refund, but didn't hear a thing back...nothing. No apology, no refund. Nada. Will never purchase a Minolta product again. I now have another SONY digital camera that is great.
