Small Bayonet SBC B15 To Small Screw SES E14 Light Bulb Holder Adaptor Converter-White

Perfect for converting small screw bulbs (power saving ones) into bayonet bulbs.I have a decorative glass owl lamp that only fitted a 25w old bayonet bulb type. The specialist bulb shop said there was only 1 bulb that would fit it and it was an old-style bulb, the only problem with this was the glass got incredibly hot in a very short amount of time. The glass owl lamp even had built in venting panels, because the designer recognised the problem. However when "specialists" say there's no solution, I am more determined to find a solution and the solution is these combined with the Mudder 2pcs Dimmable 4W E14 3014SMD 80-LED Energy bulbs. They fit the bayonet slot in the owl lamp perfectly and ta-da the lamp is perfectly cool and can be used as a really nice night light.

Very pleased with the product although I feel, for safety, the skirt should be deeper so to protect the fingers from the live side of the bulb's base as, depending which way the SBC cap is inserted, the visible threaded holder can be, 50%/50%, BE LIVE. Using a meter, I made sure that the live side connects to the centre terminal. Others on the marked have a longer shield which covers all of the threaded portion.

Excellent supplier , Redelivered product after it went missing by royal mail..The product is Absolutely dangerous as the outer case is connected to one of the soldered pins. To use this product you would have to remove the earth connection and make it either live or neutral .. if using this product in a metal lamp stand ,this would make it Live and will KILL you if you touch something else at the same time... The inner Brass bulb thread SHOULD NOT BE IN CONTACT WITH THE OUTER SILVER PART OF THE HOLDER... I must reiterate the Supplier was excellent to deal with...It is the product that is poor.
