AIRCARE Whole-House Console-Style Evaporative Humidifier for Coverage up to 3,700 sq. ft. (Walnut)

It's the fourth humidifier I've purchased. It's looks cool, works well. And I no longer have a film on my windows..

This is a basic wick-type console humidifier. I purchased it to replace a 30-year-old unit where the fan motor is failing. I have not used it this season, so this review is based only on the assembly and overall first impression. This unit differs from my previous unit in 3 basic areas:1) This takes four (4) wick filters, which require almost complete disassembly to replace and are quite overpriced, even from 3rd party sellers. My old unit only required only one filter which was easy to replace. I would expect that with four separate filters, this unit "should" humidify the air much quicker, but it will be quite an expense and hassle to change them out when needed.2) This unit has two (2) fans, while my old unit has only one. The fan motors appear to be standard 3-speed induction motors (the kind used in standard box fans) which should be cheaper to replace if they fail. My old unit had one large motor that is no longer manufactured. To get a motor with similar specs would cost more than the price of this new AirCare unit, which is why I purchased it.3) This AirCare unit is similar in size to my old unit, but the plastic housing is much thinner. The unit seems overall much less rigid and sturdy. The expression "They just don't make things the way they used to" is very true in this case.Once I put the AirCare unit into operation, I'll update this review accordingly.

This thing is amazing. It says it holds 4.7 gallons of water, and that is true if you plan to move it around, but I put it in a permanent spot and have put 6 gallons of water with no problems. It really humidifies the air very well. I added a lavender scented oil and the whole house smells amazing.

We bought this to replace one we'd had for 30 years. We were reluctant to do so, but we were forced to. So happy we found this one. It has a very sensitive humidistat, which allows it to work great. Other reviews stated that it was noisy. We don't find that at all. Great purchase.

Does not put out much moisture. Have to have fan on High speed to do Any Good. Fan is very loud at high speed. Auto shut off does not work when the water runs out

It's broke down I still have it can't seem to get a box and return label to send it back but I did get my money back

I humidify multiple rooms with this unit, which I located in my upstairs hall. Assembly is not complicated or difficult, for a 'normal' person who is paying attention. I am 85 years old and a might drifty, and did OK. Several fan speeds are available, a mid-speed works for me, not too loud. The humidity level settings are in 5% increments.Only reason for not rating it at 5 stars: you have to pay CLOSE attention and not be in a hurry when filling it - or you'll splash water on the floor
