Shockingly good!
These are in fact hollow steel and very light weight. They have the strangest tip profile I've ever seen on knitting needles, but they work great as a blunt-tip needle set. The finish on the 4mm (the ones I'm trying out first) is smooth with a bit of drag, actually quite similar to HiyaHiya steel sharps. They have a smooth knitting action, but the slight texture makes the needles stay happily in my project instead of flying out onto the floor. I really appreciate that each set has its own labeled case.
